Massage aftercare advice

After the Treatment.

  • After receiving a Holistic treatment it is very important to rest and relax as much as possible, practice deep breathing exercises and relax your shoulders.

  • Drinking plenty of water or even herbal teas will help flush out any toxins released by your treatment, this will help reduce any Contra Actions, making the treatment more beneficial.

Home care Advice 

  • Try and make regular time to take Regular exercise

  • Make time for yourself! Even if it’s just an odd minute here or there

  • Try Practicing Deep Breathing exercises to help you relax

  • Try and add more Fruit and Vegetables to your everyday diet.

Possible contra-actions

This is also known as a side effect from the massage and they are usually only Minor and will usually pass in 24 hours after which you will more than likely feel calmer and better in yourself.      

However saying this: It is perfectly normal to feel a little different after receiving one of the treatments it may be one of the following:

  • Headache, Nausea, thirst, a sore throat, tiredness, You may need to pass water more. Contra actions put simply mean mild side effects usually can occur

  • Break out in spots (Temporarily),

  • Aches and pains.

This is due to the flushing out of the toxins released by the treatment you have just received -Drinking water or herbal teas can help speed up this process and also serve to reduce symptoms.

These Healing Crisis are often short lived and you will feel a greater sense of well-being afterwords. If you have just had a treatment please take the time to tell me if you experienced any of the above the next time you come for a treatment so you can get the best possible treatment - I will need to make a note of this in your file.
